Florida gas prices reach lowest since March

Gas prices continued their unseasonable downward tear last week, making for the lowest Memorial Day weekend gas prices in two years and the lowest state prices since March.

Florida gas prices were $2.60 on average Monday, down 3 cents over the week. Miami gas was $2.53 per gallon, down 5 cents from last week.

Gas prices took an early summer slide due to growing domestic fuel supplies and the ongoing trade war between the U.S. and China.

Nationally, gas was $2.81 on average Monday.
